Hair Crush: Zora Howard, part II
When I started the blog I had a label called Hair & Poetry. I choose this label because these two things were very central in my life at that moment. I'm not as into poetry (I rarely have time to read these days) but I still love watching the occasional spoken work performance on YouTube. Zora Howard is a long time favorite, from her young days of Biracial hair until her mature self as a part of the Striver's Row spoken word collective. I was very excited to see her sporting a TWA in this video. So excited that I actually didn't pay attention to the poem the first time I watched it. But the poem is amazing, so don't let the hair distract you!
